The Alcohol and Drug Education (ADE) Program provides education and awareness on the effects of alcohol and drug abuse. During the eight (8) sessions, participants are provided with materials ion alcohol and drug abuse, health problems/issues due to drinking and/or drug use, the various consequences surrounding alcohol and/or drug use, and the impact on self and loved ones (i.e. family, significant others, etc.). By participating in the Aldohol and Drug Education (ADE) Program, awareness of the risks of alcohol and drug ab use are obtained and knowledge of the disease of addiction is gained. This assists the participants in making informed choices and decisions.
The program is eight (8) sessions in length and is held on Monday and/or Tuesday evenings. Participants may choose to attend once weekly for eight (8) weeks or twice weekly for four (4) weeks. The cost of the program is $240.00 payable either in full on beginning the program or $30.00 each session. For convenience, a "fast track" daytime program is offered for four (4) consecutive days, four (4) hours per day, at the cost of $240.00 payable on the first day. Participants are given a "Certificate" on completion of the program.
Some individuals that have legal issues or are involved in the criminal justice system may be required to complete an Alcohol and Drug Education (ADE) Program of less than sixteen (16) hours. We offer a six (6) hour "fast track" program for $90.00 and a twelve (12) hour "fast track" program for $180.00 with a Certificate" on completion. All "fast track" program fees must be paid in full at the time of registration.
